'Check oil' displays after a gasket change

Does anybody know if the check oil display might appear after I had a leaky gasket changed from inside my engine? I thought it was rather coincidental after getting it back from the dealer...

Don't start the engine again. Truck or trailer it back to the Dealer.

I've been on it a bunch of times since (~20+ times) and it works fine which makes me think it's a faulty sensor. Does anybody know the positioning of the sensor and if it is easy to be damaged when working on the engine?

Hey make sure you didnt cink that wire that runs from the bottom of the right side (looks like a temp sending unit) and the wire that goes inbetween the outer cluch case. I kinked that wire today and my oil light looking at me.
