In the country that makes the fastest motorcycles in the world, scooters are a big thing.
I wouldn't want one, but they are cool to look at. And there's no doubt they've put a lot of time, $$, and work into them.

I won't lie.. I'd roll it.. Just for the attention it'd grab.. I mean, hell, I've seen Pintos go for good money modded

Love seeing those things. It would be fun to rock one for awhile. Also you have to remember that getting a motorcycle license in japan is considerably different than in the U.S.. Their restrictions and the costs are much, much higher than our own here so it is much easier and cost effective to use lower powered bikes for their fun, racing, and customizing.
