i ordered some stands dec 22 and still no confirmation and no reply to emails and business phone is not responding.

hope its just the holidays..

anyone contact or buy something from them recently?

I talked to the guy at Checkered Flag a few months ago and was very friendly - Never purchased anything from him, but seemed quite honest on the phone, very knowledgeable about his products, and from what I hear he makes some nice stands. It sounds like the guy fabs everything himself, so I wouldnt be suprised if he is Back-logged. Might want to leave him a voicemail...and not to make any excuses for the guy, but it is the Holiday's - could be out of town

If you can get your money back from paypal I suggest to do it NOW. I orders stands from him when they were first avaliable and it took forever and a day to get them and Scott ( owner of Checkerflag) is a low life that can not be trusted. Scott lied to me and many other members on SH.org several times about when our products would ship and they never would. I will admit the stands are nice for the money but they are not worth the hasle, and his customer service is the worst I have ever seen. Checkerflag will never get anymore of my bussiness and I will continue to warn others about his bissness ethics.

as soon as i was about to request refund, i get an email from fedex with tracking number. package should be here Dec 30..

i sent to emails today and finally got a email from Fedex about the shipment.

I was just looking at ordering a set of stands... guess I will have to rethink getting these.

Hopefully it's just a holiday for them. Two weeks ago I purchased a tre from them via ebay and received it in less than a week.

think he is way behind on the stands tho -- took a bit more than a month to get mine -- had big time problems getting answers too. Just depends on if you are willing to wait to get 2 stands for less than the price of one
They work just fine -- may want to tape up the hooks on the rear stand tho -- have heard of people scratching swingarms - and they boogered up my aluminum spools a bit.

well i got the stands today.. so it only took 8 days to get to my door fromt the day i ordered. considering Christmas in between thats not too bad. just the lack of communication that worried me.

however, the durability looks good and the parts are high quaility, but one of the threads is not threading through.. and no instruction came with these...

this is like taking your chance to get a good product with no customer service if there is a problem.

not sure if it worth it, any way, much better than jack stands and a bar.

anyway i replied about the problems and told asked him we might me intersted in a group or discount buy.. lets see if they can get their act together.

yeah, i didnt notice the "quality inspected" sticker on it..

anyways.. no more execuses not to clean/lube my chain.
