I personally don't like big events or riding with large groups at all. I like to leave my place on my busa and fly down the highway at mach 7 and mess around all on my own...
Where I live there isn't a whole lot of biking events other than squids meeting at the local industrial park and pulling sloppy wheelies and endos until the 5-0 comes. That just isn't my idea of fun.
There really isn't enough people of any race to be grouping together and making it "this race only" bike event...we're all a bunch of rednecks here in Oxford. I'm lucky just to get out with a few of my friends for a few hours and go biking with them.
I am however going to Laconia June 15th so that'll be cool. I never thought of the race issue to be honest it just isn't something I really care about when I'm dodging traffic!
