Christmas is finally past...

...for me anyhow~  

A riding buddy stopped by the house yesterday and we sat around the garage shootin the chit, drinkin some Coronas, and installed my Galfer brake lines~

  I can now see, or rather feel, why this mod is considered a 'must do'~ The difference is damn near like night and day! So now I've got the front and rear sprockets changed out to a 16/42 combo, the steel braided brake lines installed, and the CF look sticky on my gas cap~ All thanks to Mrs Clause and a little help from a friend~ I'm definitly diggin it...

I didn't get any of the work in progress, so no pic of the front sprocket, but here's a shot of the rear~ Nothin bling-bling, just a 42T JT Sprocket (also used JT on the front)~

It was time to flush the brake fluids anyhow...

...but I'm very happy with the finished product and way it does it's job~

Yeah, I'm diggin that too~ Most of my riding is in town, so having more on the low end is nice~ Since I'm not looking to break any speed records with my 'Street Princess' I don't mind sacrificing a little off the top~

'Coarse it did open up the need to spend some more on another mod.... the speedo healer~

Whats the peice that sticks out past the lines ?? Mine just had a bolt that held it.

It's a bleeder valve..

Thats what I thought. I thought a bleeder would have to be at the bootm of the line.

Yep, there's one down there too..

It's the way the double banjo was set up, so he went with it.

Very nice, looks great. Use the top bleeder too, tendency to hold a bit of air close to the master cylinder.
Rear will lock up easier too, watch for that. Beautiful bike
