Christmas Weather

It might not seem like Christmas here in LA, but it's great riding weather. Right now (1:30 pm) it's 77 downtown, and I'm working. But what a great ride in this morning with few cars on the freeway and no need to split lanes. Tomorrow is supposed to be a couple degrees cooler.

We call these kinds of conditions practice weather for the Rose Bowl!

Perfect conditions for a quick Christmas Eve scoot before we lay out the kids' special gifts.

23 deg. f. Butt loads of snow. Roads have been misirable the last two days. And I am jonesing. Sure wish I could head out for my two wheel fix. Oh well it has to get better eventually.

I wish I didn't live in winter wonderland!! 6 months of bike riding is WAYYY to short! You guys make me SOOoooo jealous!!!! Ah well, one day I will land a job in a warmer climate!! =o)

Wooohoooo that is bracing! Nice tho...because there's no salt dust on the road to worry about yet. The suspension is hard as a rock. Tires too I guess. Hot tub time...

Can't wait to see the looks on my little girls' (3 & 4) faces tomorrow morning. They're totally buzzed. This is what Christmas is about. And yes, I make sure they know it's Jesus' birthday party, not just a materialistic feeding frenzy.

If ya don't go to church tomorrow, send'em a $GoBig or so to help them keep doing the good work.

Temp-74 degrees today in Carlsbad, Ca.,and so crystal clear that both Santa Catalina and San Clemente Islands could be seen from my window. That's rare. Scoot is still down at dealer's but that's OK, too much company to leave, anyway. Hope this weather holds 'til next week.Gotta get ready for our invasion. Happy Holidays, everyone.

Started out cold here in Central Florida; by late morning it was gorgeous!!! :O Rode with my wife (she on her red Y2K busa; me on my '99 copper). Started getting cold late afternoon; currently around 48 deg. F. Forecast for the next couple of days ... GRRRREAT!

19 degrees hear in lower NY. Clear, and weave had no snow so far this season. Not too much sand on the roads yet. I went for a nice blast this morning. Thank god for electric gear. I hope it stays this way threw the weak end. I’d like to get a ride in on Sunday. Well Its time too play Santa again. My kid are asleep and its up to the rooftop. On Busa! On Blitson! 50's here, NOBODY on the road but me. Perfect oportunity to nail it. So what do I do? Say a little "thanks" for the nice weather and roll through there at 100 instead of 65. It was great, I must be gettin old or something. I'm even startin to carry a tankbag fer cryin out loud.

71 deg. on X-mas day here in Phoenix. Traffic still sucks and seems to be 10mph slower. A great day to inhale some White-out( I cut back on the paint huffing) and ride. Happy holidays to all.
