So, I got an 04 black/purple a few weeks ago and have been changing out some things. I haven't taken pictures yet. But, to give you an idea of the look I am going for, I put chrome wheels on, installed the chrome inserts for the fairings, polished triple tree, white illuminated gauges, chrome gauge cover, put some led's on it, hotbodies undertail, ordered a chrome swing arm and now it is time to mess with the frame. (In case you don't get the picture, it is mainly for fun and not touring or racing. 
)
My question is, I am having a hard time deciding between polishing it or putting on the chrome covers. Cost and time spent not being an issue, which route would you go? Does one have an advantage over the other?
