I saw a photo of a hayabusa that had all of the body panels chromed .

A.) Does anyone know where I can find the photo because I cant remember where the heck I saw it.....

B.) Does anyone know where I can get such work done in the U.S. because when I contacted the guy whose bike it was he said that the work was done in the UK.

If anyone can help me out e-mail me please.

They chrome and gold plate plastic. They did some neat stuff for my turbo bike that I have never seen on any other bike. They also do wheels and frames also. They are in the back of most of the mags. Ask for Steve.

Cycle Stuff, I'm a chrome freak also and want to know if the chrome on plastic is durable or not? Also, one more weird question: Will chrome adhere to carbon fiber?
By the way, I found the screws for the mirror plates at Home Depot. They look pretty good once installed.

thanks for e mailing me a picture of this bad boy-----what does it cost to have this done (out of curiosity) last time i saw this was on an fj1100 yamaha in 1986

The guy that I spoke with in Uk told me it cost him 2500 sterling pounds whatever the hell that means??? But I am gonna call the califonian that the member above refered today.

If its $2500 then its a bargain because I need a paint job any way and the color that I want is gonna cost me about $1300 anyway..

2500 british pounds was 3889.5 US dollars as on 1st May 2000 (exchange rate 1.555 USD to 1 GBP)

GSX1360R, I'm glad everything worked out. Send me a pix when you get a chance. Would like to post it on my site. I'm not to sure about how durable the chrome is. I have a lot of plastic gold plated and they have to chrome it first before they gold plated, so my guess would be that it is pretty durable. The finish is very nice, but keep in mind once it starts to chip then it peels pretty easy. One my photo page I have a gold Arai helmet that they did and it turned out real nice. Let me know if any of you guys get the body work done.
