Those of you that have the grills on your bike, where did you get them?? I want a set, not sure chrome or stainless? Looking to order from somewhere with a proven record. I couldnt find them on Pashnit's site. Any recommendations?? Thanks!

you can go by your local pep boys/advance auto and pick it up from the ricer section. I believe APC makes the shinny stuff

The screens I got from PPM Cycles is just chromed stucco wire! Very cheap stuff and it wasn't formed or shaped right to fit the openings in the fairing. As I would re-shape it, the chrome would pop off. Very disappointed!

McCoy Motorsports offers 4 different designs in aluminum, but its just an 18"x18" sheet and you have to cut and shape yourself. You also would have to put your own finish on it, but only $30 bucks or so.

Tom ( postal ) here on the oRg, from memory it stopped making them. Very nice, color matches and formed.

Actually, I have a GEN II set that I bought (Chrome) from the member here who used to make them, and never used them. Interested PM Me.

Here is where I have gotten most of my Chrome extras for Misty,

These were pre-formed and fit really well, I would suggest a little more Epoxy than sent, But other than that no problems ar all

So ebay is my best option? ???

You can contact Josh off Ebay, He has a shop in Mo.

eBay Store - NEW AND USED HAYABUSA PARTS: VORTEX, GIPRO, GALFER

MIne was from Ebay...shaped and chromed for think $100.

+1

Mine also came from E-Bay and were shaped. Came with a tube of epoxy too. Beware they are a bi*ch to put on though. I had to stand and hold each one for about 30 minutes each. Looks really good once they are done and I have not had any problems with them popping off. :beerchug:

I got my 1st set from an Org member Vic-E55_2001. Already chromed and premolded to fit. He also powder coats them different colors. My second set came from ebay just to see if there was any differences. Thought Vic's were a little better. Chrome 1st time, second set is black.

Try ballzmotorsport on ebay > best I've seen, pre-formed triple electroplated chrome, customer service is shoddy (dont ask them for another tube of glue, wont give you the time of day) but good product ! If no one on here can help out ... sponsors first !!!

Our only vendor that carries them is PPM Customs, but no margin in there to resell them.

I also got mine off eBay too. I know you can go to hardware store, but I preferred to pay the extra money for someone that's pre-formed them. Just set them on and glue. Easy.

For glue, use a quick set epoxy available at any drug store or hardware store. Any of them will work, but you want a quick-set epoxy. It will harden in less than 30 seconds so you have to be really quick once you mix it.

No one can see the inside of your fairings so I just dabbed some epoxy in the corners and it's held ever since just fine. I think in the last 7 yrs I've done it three times.

Lowes, gutter screen. I shaped them on my old plastics, painted with Krylon Extreme Metalic and expoxied them in.
