Clean stains off stock Gen3 exhaust cans?

I couldn't find info specific to the Gen3 cans. They look similar to the stainless steel kitchen appliances I used to have. Never again!

Bike wash and plenty of elbow grease does nothing at all, as expected.
I don't wanna experiment, does anyone know what works?

I would try a Mr.Clean Magic Eraser, I have gotten stains off of stock pipes before(not a gen3), burnt boot on midpipe, lol.
I would try it on a cold exhaust, but you may need get it hot, and quickly wipe the eraser over it.
The eraser needs to be damp regardless.
It may or may not work specifically for whatever type of finish is on those mufflers, but the erasers really do seem magic, as I have gotten so many stains and marks off of so many different surfaces and finishes over the years, I would definately try them.
And if they don't work on the mufflers, try them everywhere else, as they really do work on alot of things that you wouldn't belive would come out.

Really? The Menzerna website says "An innovative automotive polish that removes scratches and creates gloss in a single step. The professional polish for automotive clear coats". Is this something you've actually tried on metal?
No, but I use a 3M compound, one bottle lasts me forever and it is multiple times the price. At the end of the day, most rubbing compounds do the same thing. So does a metal or brass cleaner.

We manufacture items out of stainless steel and aluminum, as well as have items chromed. So we do a lot of polishing.

Just to follow up on my previous post, using an automotive compound is not that aggressive, and will remove any stains which are on the surface, without removing the patina.

From my understanding the Busa 3 develops a patina on the the exhaust.

A metal polish as below, has harder more aggressive abrasives, and will remove the patina, meaning if the OP is not careful he would have to do the entire exhaust surface.

YouTube has many suggestions.

Sir, could you elaborate. what type of stain are you referring to?
That's a good question, now I'll have to tell the story...

Was parked at a buddy's place beside his stone deck. I covered the bike but left the pipes exposed because they were still hot. Two days later when I came to get the bike I see a mess on one can. Turns out while I was gone a guy came by to work on the deck, re-grouted the stone or something. Then likely hosed the mess off the deck and onto my Missus.

So I don't know what it is exactly but my buddy's trying to find out.
Thanks fellas for the ideas!

The guy says it's just grout, so I expect getting rid of the stains won't be a problem.
The Nevr-Dull polish sounds like a winner (no patina yet to worry about, and I gotta do the whole can anyway).
Props for the Magic Eraser idea!

I have an idea too ...

Try a clay bar with Dawn & water. Put a lot of work into it. The clay bar will not leave a scratch on the finest finish so there is no risk. Just keep folding it should it pick up anything.
