clear tailight lens? please help!!

i had no responses last time so ill try again. i recently saw a 99'black busa. it had an interesting tailight. it looked like it was red on the outsides and clear in the middle? they were not turnsignals because he had everything else original on, fender, signals etc. i would really like to find out what he did or bought while i have mine down.anyone know?? tmh? johhny?

ambush, no i dont think so. he still had the oe turn signals. oh well my dream must come to and end. lol
