clutch cusion removal?

how doe it come off.I took out the three bolts but it will not com off,do you pull it.is there a trick.

the outer part the cushion.it has three bolts on the outside.

To my knowledge that does not come off.
If you want access to the clutch you have to take all of the bolts off the whole cover and then remove it.

i wanted to trace the circle on the fairing,but if it doesn't come of why are there bolts on there.

ronayers says it comes off look at number 8 and 9

Dunno why or what the heck its for. But my gen two it comes off. Three bolts. Little prying levereage. There's a rubber pad behind it. Kinda held suction on mine.

My Clymer manual states "The clutch outer cover is strictly cosmetic. Removal is unnecessary unless the outer cover needs replacing."
As I remember it is solid behind that piece and just held on by the 3 bolts

Yep. Found out the hard way. I figured surely a cover over the clutch would be an access point. Nope. Stupid cover rubber pad solid metal. Only things to be discovered ther.
