Clutch mod

I'm looking for a clutch mod for my '05 and I'd prefer no to get the kit with the snap ring but yet really don't wanna spend $200+ on a one piece billet one. Hopefully one of you guys have upgraded to a slider or something else and would like to sell your old setup. Anybody have anything??? Or can you at least tell me or send me pics of your welded stock one so I could just duplicate that and buy the heavier clutch springs. All input or available parts are appreciated.

I used the one piece but here are a couple of pics I had lying around.
I didn't like the idea of a welded one but Brocks did sell them at one time.

Can someone pls explain this mod.. and what the advantage is?

I havnt torn into my engine so I'm not too sure what I'm looking at.

This mod also tightened up my drive train.
No more chain slop.
All my bikes had the old suzuki clutch that I loved, now my busa is back to that mode.

I did the same mod by welding it too.So far so good :whistle:

That's a good read.. guy sounds funny..
But what type style rider is this mod for?

My bike is leaning towards all show.. stock go.

If you don't miss the good old suzuki clutch, then the OEM is fine for you IMO.

This bike will do street riding as well as track days (1/4 mile). Trying to 60' this bike with the stock clutch setup isn't gonna work very well. At this point I may just take mine out and weld it.
