clutch pushrod

SOS. did sum work, now pushrod doesn’t stop, it just keeps going all the way in. please send suggestions . i’m losing brain cells over this bike .

Bro, that sounds like a headache. I might be way off, but could it be something with the clutch cable tension? Maybe it needs adjusting after the work you did? Just a thought.

i’ll go ahead and give yall a few more details:

i did have the engine case open. replaced some bearings and piston rings. i’m hoping this issue i’m encountering will only require me to disassemble my clutch :/
 
please don’t clown me, but i actually have done quite of bit of work on her recently. but to answer ur question, yes, the basket was out.

which could break the oil pump gear
or did you forget this part 22 31 30

It sounds like the basket teeth are against the oil pump gear teeth, instead of meshing into them, which is preventing the basket from seating, and leaving a gap, which then leaves room for extra travel of the clutch pushrod.
Double check the clutch assembly.

i did forget this part ! look, i’ve been working on this bike for 2 1/2 months and im toasted.

so if i install this component correctly, my pushrod will b able to do its job ?

If I was that good I would know why my bike seems to be not firing #1 cylinder
