clutch question

Where does your clutch start to release at? I can pull in my clutch lever about half way maybe a lil less before my pressure plate starts to move. Is this normal or do I need to bleed the clutch? It always felt like it never fully disengaged before. The bike would jump a lil if I started it in gear and it always felt like it grab as soon I released it jus a lil.

stock clutch? or after market? stack height could be to high

That's was the old stock clutch. New clutch is in and stack height is at 1.98. Have not fired it up yet. Just an observation while the cover was off before I put it back together but it feel like the old one as far as where it releases.
