You can, but make sure they do a damn good Job of welding it.
if i might add,i personally was impressed with the m.r.e. mod.Shnitz sells a"weekend warrior" kit that has it in it.comes with one peice cam and new stronger springs,also the kit comes with your choice of front and rear sprockets, tie down strap for the front, lowering links and something else that i cant think of off hand.all for 300$.i didnt think that was a bad price.
