Clutch Question

I have a question that may seem like a newbie question, so, please don't flame me for it. Which side of the clutch takes more of the load, the side facing the outside of the motor, or the side that faces the motor??

Ideally wouldn't it be equal?

That is what I was thinking, but when I pulled my old one out, it looked like one side was actually burnt and the other side of the fibers looked decent.

hrm ... well, i think if you grab some sandpaper, and scrub
something with it, that the load you exert on the sandpaper
is the same load it exert's back -- but one particular surface
gets abraded -- not all the surfaces.

are you saying one side of a single plate clutch is getting
abraded? is this a busa clutch?

Yes, it is my busa clutch. And just about all of the fibers seemed to be burnt on the outside (the inside was just a little worn).
