Clutch uptake

I just got home after the 600 mi. checkup. When the bike was brand new, the clutch uptake was pretty smooth at slow/moderate acceleration, but it got kind of, er, loose and grabby. Like the accererator was not giving enough gas. Not a big problem, in the overall scheme of things, but a little annoying. I thought it would get tightened up during the checkup, but it didn't. In fact it seems looser.
Is there something I can adjust between the clutch and the throttle? Is an aftermarket pipe going to help? Knowlegable responses greatly appreciated. (e.g. DangerMouse).

I can't get over how quickly topics move down on the list. Brock clutch mod noted, anything else? Do others have this problem? The dealer says I should get used to it, that it needs 2500 rpm to move away smoothly and that high performance bikes run this way. My R1 didn't.

Get the Brock clutch mod.
Period
Some dealerships are stupid and no one there even owns one. not less know how to fix them.
I should know this.

GET THE BROCK CLUTCH MOD LIKE JOHNNY RECOMENDED I HAVE IT YOU PULL AWAY AT 1200RPM IF YOU LIKE IT WORKS. I'M SURE JRBUSE WILL RESPOND AND SAY IT IS A BRAINSTORM WELL I SUPOSE HE THINKS BROCK BELEIVES IN THE TOOTH FAIRY TO.

The amazing thing is that I got on 'er this morning and the clutch seems to have self adjusted. It was back to normal, as it had been the first several hundred miles. It seems fine now. What's the nature of the self adjustment feature on these clutches?
