weird thing happends thursday. went to go ride and it sounded like there was a wood pecker in my clutch. so i shut it off. i just walked away really bad day at work didnt want to deal with it right then. started it today and runs great. no noise. any ideal what it could have been? oil wasnt low wasnt in gear sat for 2 days could the cush drive stick in the clutch?????

x2 on that,, I had the same thing happen.. I removed the studs, put loctite on them and torque to spec.. 7000 miles and no problems as of yet.. the reason why it stopped is because it probably rubbed a groove in your clutch cover. It will start back again when it backs out more.
