Colin Edwards tests Michelin 2CT's on his GP race bike

I'm not sure what you are selling here Yank?

That video isn't a tire test yank, it's a commercial. Directed towards the low informed buyer. Colin Edwards could ride a shinko and make it look impressive.

Valentino Rossi did a commercial like that for Bridgestone and Ben Bostrom threw a set of Q2's on his race bike for Dunlop and the list goes on. Advertising tires through racers has been the norm since the beginning. What you witnessed in that video was sheer talent. Had little to do with the tire.

Look up "Mitchel Pierce" (Local youngster in my community) on you tube! In proper hands any tire can look impressive!

Besides, Q2's weren't even out in 2006 :moon::laugh:

He was only EIGHT SECONDS off his time with race tires.....

:laugh: seven year old commercial, 8 seconds seems like a lot, but I liked the drifting action out of the one corner. On the other hand it was only five laps.

I'm not sure what you are selling here Ken?

That video isn't a Motorcycle test Ken, it's a commercial. Directed towards the low informed buyer. Randy Mamola could ride a Kawasaki and make it look impressive.

:laugh::laugh::laugh:

250+ HP on a four hundred and change pound motorcycle yeah I am sure ANY street tire will break loose exiting..

That twitch was from hitting a piece of a Q2 tire that cupped and came apart from the previous rider.:poke:

Haters I tell ya!:laugh:

True, but the Qualifier was available and it was and still is a leap ahead of the 2cts.

The front tire of the Q2 had very little change from the original Q. Great tire as a Q, increadible tire as a Q2. It's the rear Q2 carcass that made a huge difference by increasing the foot print as well as grip. Entirely different design from the original Q.

Your busa will spin a PP on corner exits just like the Texas Tornado if you'll pull your skirt down and twist the throttle! :shocked:

No haters yank, it's just that we have progressed with technology and you are still a decade behind :dunno:

Just so you understand the premises, the reason your front lifts on corner exits is because your skirt is up over your face screen and you don't apply the throttle until you have cleared the corner and the bike is straight up. By the time you get your tire up to impress the crowd the rest of the crew is half way to the next corner.

Pull your skirt down and try twisting the throttle while your peg feelers are dragging combined with that infamous crossed up body position and youtube skills, see how long it takes your preferred tire choice to put you on your head!l :laugh:

Thats some great riding advice. Unfortuntely I am not having any luck finding Youtube videos on your advice, sooooooo when you come home from your seniors bingo night with the other cotton tops maybe you can wheel your LIl Rascal chair up to the pc and send me a link, until then I will go practice my riding position in the garage as I watch the movie Biker Boyz:beerchug:
