Confederate Fighter = April Fools?

I just got my newest edition of Motorcyclist and there was an article with pics of this 2010 Confederate Fighter. I looked at it and flipped to the front of the mag to see if this was the April issue as I was thinking this was the April Fools joke! Why would anyone spend huge money to be seen on something that looks to me like an industrial air conditioning unit????

Hasn't this bike been around for a year or so? It does look pretty cool, but it does look like it would be a little uncomfortable to ride for an extended part of time.
