Yeah, I took mine off and my resonator. First I had to cut out the thermal spring that increases back pressure during cold start ups and then I could get to the rest. Does yours have the smog pump or just the converter? ROFLMAO!!!!!!

hey, you got it all wrong dude.. FIRST you cut the wire that supports the catalytic SENSOR from your dashboard-otherwise you risk the danger of your passenger to end up on tarmac! ..you see, this is connected through the LONGITUDINAL rod with the rear seat inner bolts, hence the lock there-should you need to reach for the connection gizmo (you know, the female optical cable plug that sits there waiting for the male..)
..better have an expert deal with it, I can see now how dangerous it is to do it yourself..
