If you have the Copper Busa I've stumbled upon a way for you to make a gorgeous color-coordinated matching pipe.
1) Buy the RS3 full-system stainless with the "Black" can.
2)Drill the rivets out of the outer pipe ring and remove about 2/3 of the packing from the back of the can.
3)Stop by a local sheet metal shop and have new rivets popped back into your can.
4)Ride
Walla! In a few days the back of the pipe where you removed the packing turns color and the finishing hue matches EXACTLY with the copper busa's paint! The pipe looks like a smooth,professional two-tone that fades from black to copper metallic at the back.
Since my pipe mod, right after "So how fast have you gotten that thing up to?" comes "Damn, they even come with Yoshi pipes?"
My busa (her name is "Isis") now sounds great. She growls, but with some of the packing left in she is not annoying like some other bikes i've heard that have all packing removed.
If anyone doubts the looks, I'll send them an e-mail so they can see it for themselves.
