Don't ask me why, but the other day I thought the overflow bottle looked dark brown. So today I drained the factory stuff I bought 8 years ago and put 3 quarts of the stuff they sell at Aiken Motorcycle.
It was super easy. I basically followed this guys thread. However when I took the fairings off today the coolant looked fine
so I did not flush the system, I merely drained it and filled it.
Just making sure I called John gixerhp and left a message. He called back about the time I finished and we had a good conversation. Great guy.
