Coolant overflow alternatives?

Need this brain-trust for good ideas/suggestions regarding an alternative coolant overflow reservoir.

I'm a man with no materials nor machinery to create my own beatifully crafted reservoir like Craig Erion did on his Rodan bike. 8-)

But, I want to get rid of the stock/OEM reservoir just outside and in front of the front sprocket behind the left lower fairing in anticipation of switching to the half-cowl A-tech fairings.

All this talk of air shifter bottles woke me up to the fact that even with my limited means and abilities (will do all my own wrenching, just never got as far as the more creative aspects like fabricating) there's probably many ways to come up with a nice replacement reservoir?

Any ideas?????

It only has to be around a total volume of 500cc (150cc for low, 250cc for full), I have to be able - of course - to check the level so it has to be at least partly transparent, it will probably end-up being a cylindrical form and being mounted behind the RH end of the radiator like on Rodan and *NO* I don't just wanna dress-up the original reservoir in some A-tech carbon.

Thanks in advance for useful suggestions (although a good joke is also appreciated).

Try a camping supply for a clear bottle and a fuel tank.

They offer many clear bottles in many shapes, use this for the actual reservoir.

Spun aluminum tanks are also offered at camping supply's,sold for backpacking fuel for Primus stoves. You could cut either the side or bottom from one of these fuel tanks to make a cover.
By cutting a vertical slot in the side of it you would then have a means of observing the fluid level.

I would use the carbon cover from A-TECH, simple bolt on installation and very light.

Camping supplies, hmmmmmmmmmmm, good tip, thanks KawAbuser.

Agree on the simple & light about A-Tech cover but to my eyes it just spoils the looks completely (with the fairing-sides removed or replaced by the half-cowl).
