Coolant

You can use whatever you want to as long as it's approved for aluminum. Just make absolutely sure you do not mix chemistries. If you switch, flush the hell outta the system using plain tap water, finish with distilled water a couple of times, then use an approved coolant. It takes a few times to get everything to run clear. I switched to engine ice two years ago and it works as advertised.

I agree 100%. I use engine ice in our mx bikes and it works great. Just remember if you live in a part of the country that gets cold the freeze point is high.

Good Point. Engine Ice is good to -26 degrees F. Ethylene Glycol is good to -80 if mixed properly. I used to live in Minot, ND and engine ice would have froze solid there.

Not a problem for garage storage in ABQ, NM.
