Coronavirus via packages from China?

I did a quick Google but I don't see this exact topic come up. Avian flu was addressed but that was not spread between people; just birds to people I guess. So you were safe if you didn't order some birds from China or something like that.

I have yet to get a package directly from China in 72 hrs so should be OK.

If one were really concerned you could spray disinfectant something on the package and contents I suppose.

Thanks for responses. I Bought myself a new Wahl hair trimmer this weekend and noticed several pieces were made in China. I'll let you all know if I start coming down with anything.

The virus hasn't impacted exports from China much.

But Kudlow said that the Trump administration still projects "minimal impact" from the coronavirus.

I bought a comparable Wahl in 1997 for $19. Shaved my head when I was sweating bullets last summer. The blade froze after that but the motor ran. I just got this new one and removed the plate from the old one for fun. No rust. I cleaned out the hair, oiled the blade and it runs fine even at 23 years old. I guess I can shave two handed now.
