Correct Steps to burp cooling system...

Just wanted to confirm before I do it Sat. I will let the bike cool over night before doing this. I know I must have something wrong. ???

1. Remove radiator cap.
2. Rock bike from side to side a few times.
3. Check coolant level and refill if not topped off.

i like to sqeeze the hose, too. i feel like it helps to make sure all the air is out.

yeah squeeze the hoses and take your time.. It takes a few tries. Run it at idle and let the fan kick on a few times before you are sure its good. The temp gauge shouldnt go much past the mid line.
