cost of repairs and parts availability

well, talked to my dealer today. my repairs, (all cosmetic, keeping in mind that means no structural or mechanical damage) are just under 5,000 bucks. that's left and right fairing, upper, windscreen, fairing bracket, instrument cluster, headlight assembly, etc, etc. will post all parts and prices as soon as i get the actual quote. parts alone are 3,987. haven't gotten a quote on the labor. all the fairing parts are on backorder. so, who the hell knows when i'll get it back. will keep you posted if your interested.

Ask for all of your old parts back.If they arent in too bad of shape I'll buy them.

I replaced my right &left fairing and the upper plastic. left turn signal & left clutch lever and right airbox It was right at 2000 + tax Parts only... I put them on myself to save the labor charges.

Its amazing how light the parts are on these bikes. It was really easy swapping out the headlight assymbly and stuff.
