That may not necessarily be true anymore for 2 reasons. The '04 is a bit more expensive then the '03 here in Canuck, it now lists for $15099 CAD. Also our dollar is worth a helluva lot more now then it used to be just a couple months ago. It's gone from 1USD=0.64 cents CAD to 1USD=0.77 cents CAD as of now.

My quick calculations, the Busa here is now worth $11600 USD.

I got an 03 last month. My buddy put an 04 on layaway. It was only $300 more than mine. He's paying $9554 plus TTL

Don't forget to calculate the cost of a new gauge cluster. Unless you want the speedo and odometer to read in kilometers.

Here is the shop i mentioned earler. Speak with the owner, I forget his name, its owen or ozzie something like that. Tell him exactly what you want and he can get it. Guarantee yoiu he can get it to your door for much less. Also the gauges are in MPH etc. Ask him he will let you know. If their are a group of buyers he may cut a deal. I know of a couple of guys who bought from him about a year ago. and he shipped them to VA to their door for $9500. I was going to get mine from him, but i couldn't wait until January. But to each his /her own.

Both bikes were bought from XTREMEMOTORSPORTS in Hammond Indiana. They don't actually have the 04 model in the showroom, but they are taking layaways. The bikes are expected to get ther in about a month or so.

thanx everybody for all the info ...talked to the local dealer were i always got my bandit serviced and he gave me a price of 9500 plus dealer prep,tax,lisc,doc,for total of 10759...cant wait to get my busa...blu

very nice, i wonder if its becasue he wont have to sit on it long at all he wont have any payments or interest of his own to worry about recouping plus he assumes you will be modding and servicng thur him/her
