Couldn't Wait any Longer

Well, I did it!
I couldn't stand it any longer, knowing that bike was just sitting there waiting for me to come take it home. So since it was my birthday, I left work at lunch time on Friday, went home and got my VFR and headed for the dealership.
She is finally in my garage and all I can say is holly shite! What a phonominal machine!!! Having never riden a Busa before I was really worried about this thing being a wild snorting beast, WRONG, this is without a doubt the smoothest most refined motorcycle I have ever riden! Makes my VFR feel like a briggs & staton. It is truely amazing! The buttery smooth shifting, the quality feel of the controls and how smoothly they all work, and that engine! WOW, I haven't had it over 7000 rpm yet but man does this thing pull!...and the power isn't scary it's so linier and well, smooth. I still can't get over it. I just wish I would have found this out nine years ago and not wasted my time on other bikes. I will never ride anything else, ever! It's that good!!!
Thanks Suzuki for making my motorcycling dreams come true!!!

Always good to hear another convert story! Welcome to the madness! Bought it in Arlington? I hope they didnt take you to the bank drop you off and leave you standing there with the gun. Those people tried to rob me when i was looking to buy back in 05. They wanted me to pay like $14k for my 05 OTD. I bought from Granbury Motorsports instead for less than sticker.

Got mine at Suzuki of Texas. It wasn't a screamin' deal but it was the best price I could find in the Metroplex. I also ordered the matching RF-1000 helmet and Busa jacket...Have to wait a week or so before those come in.

Congrats. It's great to hear the enthusiasm. I'm trying to decide myself if this is the right bike for me. I know the power is there but I was wondering about the comfort of the riding position. I was pleased to learn from so many on this board that they are either very pleased with the riding position or they modded it to get it more comfy. That's all I really needed to know. I've ridden nothing but a Vmax for the past 12 years and have just reached the point where one bike won't do.

All I can say is, BUY ONE OF THESE, YOU WON'T BE SORRY!
Any gripes you might have regarding the riding position can be addressed with after-market parts. This bike is truely amazing and should not be passed up! Seriously!

I love my new busa so much, I want to tell the world!!!
