cracked faring question

Could anyone recomend how to fix a cracked faring? In my fall in the previous post my leg stayed under the bike and there is a small crack in the farring.
I tried to fix a crack in the past but it did not stick to the plastic.

There are a few methods. I prefer welding the plastic from the inside with a wide tipped soldering iron.

As an auto body instructor, I like to use a repair recommended by vehicle manufacturers. See the videos on LORD Corporation - LORD Fusor Automotive Aftermarket Products and try their 153 and some adhesion promoter. The plastic we are dealing with needs it.

i also suggest plastic wield on the inside. Then you can fill it with fiberglass and sand and paint. it isnt that hard and works like a charm.
