So i'm brand new to this forum but i've been reading alot of topics and threads that you guys post, u guys really know your stuff. i just bought my 06' black busa and she's my baby but i was clipped the other night by a car and went down hard. the car kept on going and there was no one else around. my bike is really torn up and i need some ideas of places i can get some oem stuff. the whole left side fairings are scrapped and cracked, the gas tank has a good size dent and the whole left control assembly broke off. it won't start with out the clutch lever pulled in but the lever busted off and i don't know where it went. please help with any ideas or suggestions. thanks alot

Sounds nasty. Glad you're okay. Like ozz said, is good, but check with some of the board sponsors 'cause they get some nice discounts on OEM stuff also. And if none of those work, try vman1300. Post up pics, so we can help more.
good ideas above. also post in the wanted section. most guys/girls give away there OEM stuff. you'll just have to cover shipping. I don't have any mentioned parts above, but I'm sure someone does. good luck and glad to hear your ok.

thanks for all the replies and ideas. and yes i'm ok, just a little road rash. my pride is more hurt than anything. i'm upset that i'm not going to be riding through the winter time. i'm going to post up on the wanted forum and see what happens. as for the pics i still have to figure that out. thanks again!

I have a left side control set that I can send to you, but it is from an '01 - if you want it it is yours.
I got nothin left, all went to another damaged Busa. You can btpass the clutch lever safety switch by connecting the two wires together, of what ever is left of it. After you get it back together I'm sure your forks are going to be crooked to the left more than likely. Before you let a shop charge the heck out of ya to fix em! Loosen the fork bolts and try to straighten them. Some will supriz ya.

I don't want anything but a PM with your addy. Two things you do need to understand:
1. The diffeence between the '01 and the '06 is the flash to pass and the hazards, so I will pull off the connector in case you have to move some of the pins around..
2. I just remembered that mine is missing the signal arm and knob(I sent those to another member a little while ago) so hopefull, you still have the signal housing, it is just broken.
