It obviously happened from my crash back in November... and just wondering how to fix this myself instead of going to a dealer.

When I have the bars perfectly straight, the front wheel is turned a bit to the right (obviously, this is not normal).

When the front tire is straight, the handlebars are turned to the left.

What do I need to do to get the bars straight with the wheel, and could there be other problems I should look for. Any help from the masters is appreciated!

Thanks!

When you say the bars are left, do you mean the whole nose or just the bars? I ask, because it could be that your bars are a little bent, but I would be concerned about damage to the fork tubes, frame and triple clamp... might be good to post a pic on this one, top down would be great as well as dead on front and dead behind...

When the bars are straight, the nose is also straight... but the front wheel is turned to right a little bit. And when the front wheel is straight along with the nose, the bars are turned a little to the left.

I think maybe the triple clamp is a little loose or something... but not sure. The forks look good, though.

It's kind of like when a bicycle wheel is not lined up with the bars... best way I can explain it.

Check the nut around the neck of the fram and make sure that it isn't loose, you could be right and just have slipped it a little...

Sell it and get a Moped...you'll be safer! J/K charlie!!

There are rubber bushings in between the top cover (which holds your handlebars) and the actual Tree (not TRE dumbazz

) and you may have to loosen up the (4) bolts and give it a 'twist' and re tighten them.
At the same time,I would just make sure that the rubber bushings and steel sleeves are not F/U by just taking it apart first and inspecting...

approache to a pile or a wall and hit it violently with your front right part of your tire couple of times.be sitted on your bike and turn the handlebars rapidly towards the wall/pile.Beware not to damage the wing

put the bike up on stands, front and rear. A pit bull front that supports from the tree, not the fork tubes is what you need. Once you get it up losen the clamp bolts on top and bottom, but not so loose the tubes move. Once you get this done. Spin the front wheel. While the wheel is spinning grab the front brakes. THis will cause the tubes and wheel to line up. Tighten the bolts back down and go from there. IT all "should be" straight agian as long as nothing is bent or warped.

Hope this helps a little.
