Cruising speed?

So I am driving to Orlando (in the Avalanche) and was thinking abt crusing speed in the truck and on the bike. In the black av I go 80 at 2500 rpms. On the silver and blue beast I cruise at 90 doing 5000 rpm in 6th gear. How bout you all?

80 to 85ish around 4500 rpms.

94 accord 80mph = 2600rpm = 33 mpg
02 silverado 80mph = 2500rpm = 18 mpg
07 busa 80 mph = 3700 rpm +1 tooth in front. = 48 mpg

i go about 70-75 on the busa at about 3300rpm and 60 in my car at 2100rpm never measured the fuel millage. when it hits E on my gages i get to pull over at the nearest fuel station i pay 4 dollars a gallon.

In the city I am usually right on the money, On the highway I try not to go more than +5 mph. In the straights I may open it up a little if I am alone.

Hmmm so apparently I am cruising a little on the fast side.
48 miles per hour? Wow! I am lucky to get 100 miles to the tank, that big bore is a gas hawg!
