CTS Moto going out of business???

I was going to get a set of Revolution rotors for my 09 Busa and went onto Motomummy's website yesterday and they weren't on there. I called them and they told me CTS moto, the manufacturer, ran out of materials so they weren't making any until they got more materials in??? They also told me that they were probably making a design change also. I did a bing search just now and typed in "ctsmoto" and the first listing was a final closueure letter from the company saying that after 6 yrs in business they were closing the doors. They also make the FP Tactical levers but they said another company will be making those from now on??? I know some of the other companys probably have stock still left but I'm leaning towards Galfer now since I'm sure at least they will be around if I have any issues. Just wondering if anybody else on here has heard about any of this??? Btw, this sucks cuz IMHO those were, by far, the best looking rotors out of any of the aftermarket companys!

Odd....guess they didn't escape the wrath of the recession. Personally I never cared for their rotors, seemed to have a flimsy look to them, but to each his own. They did say that they have some stock left and you can call to purchase at discount pricing.

I did see the part about buying up what's left at a discount but I interpretted the letter to have been meant for their dealers. I could be wrong and sorry if I am, I read it quickly. Nevertheless, I think I'll stick to a company that isn't going out of business, at least not while I'm buying their product, lol!!!

Brenton, hate to be the bearer of bad news for you but CTS Moto is officially done & dissolved. We've also taken down our Rev Rotors page as they are no longer being produced. It's unclear right now whether someone would buy up the designs and tooling to produce them under a different manufacture or name.

FP Tacticals levers are still alive and well and there are no changes there. Just talked to them yesterday. Assembly will still be done in Sacramento with a 2ndary distribution facility in Colorado. Any engraved sets are will be done in Sac.
