Custom Front Fender

If I did this correctly you should see a pic of Euro-Bikes custom Busa front fender. Have any of you heard any comments about this. I'm especially interested in the material quality, fit/finish, paint match, or anything surprising, like the vents whistling until you're driven crazy, or rain pouring through them all over your brake rotors, etc.

looks differnt but I dont see any advantages over the fender. It does look like it will make some noise though.

They have been around for a while...I think purely cosmetic. I haven't seen any negative reports on them.

I got mine last year. Same plastic and paint as the stock fender. True it is only a cosmetic thing, no negative or positive effect i.e. noise, handling at high speeds, or water damage. ... Well there are a few more bugs to clean off of the bottom of the forks, but that's it.

nice looking front fender, 'til you start picking up gravel dings in the lower fork legs and then oil seal leaks.....................

I have'nt been on here for awhile so I know this is a late reply.......I have an '03 silver/gray with the same fender you're inquiring about. I bought mine from Devilbikes but I'm sure they are from the same company. The color match was a little off so I repainted mine. Other than that, I am very pleased with the look and quality. I get alot of positive comments on it.
(a small footnote.....I mentioned to Devilbikes that I had to repaint the fender when I later ordered an undertail from them and they took $100 dollars off the undertail. Pretty cool in my book....Now thats what I call customer relations!)

I have a carbon fender sorry no pic. I heard that the gixxer 1k fender looks good. Anyone see one ?

I have had one of the originals for 2 years now I think. It shows off more of the front wheel. When you come down off a wheelie you can hear the fiberglass flexing and you swear the wheel is hitting the fender. It's for show more than anything. But I like it. Mine's 01 blue.

Custom fenders look nice, but keep in mind a good fender should always cover the lower part of the fork (shiny side). Stone chips or any surface damage will eventually lead to fork seal failure. Keep this in mind fellow busa owners.

The one from eurocrap doesnt use all the mounting holes, while the fender looks ok, the bare and unused bolt holes now look like poo.:;):I had one,I gave it away.NJ.
