cutting out

suzuki u.k. informed me to disconnect the pink wire from the gear change connector and not from the E.C.U. They also told me that i should run the engine on mineral oil? If you do disconnect the pink wire then you will have to set the throttle potentiometer to the lower setting on the head up display.

What ? I dont understand what you are tryn to get at, its probably just me but can you explain that a little better?

SUZUKI told you to disconnect the pink wire??????
Whats the difference where you disconnect it? It will still be disconnected. How did it run through the other gears.
By placing your tps to its lower setting on the LCD will make the ECM believe that the throttle is closed further than it is. (i.e.-2 % throttle) This may allow a leaner idle--you could also remap the idle with the YOSH box, why did they not recommend that since Suzuki let Nippendenso design the box to get around emmissions?
Problem is using the LCD display is crude and does not give you a good indication of how far you have gone.
The P Commander will let you see this (throttle position)when connected to your personnal computer or laptop. You could also measure voltage-numbers are given in the manual.
I think none of this should be needed however since I have obtained a linear response from the throttle with the TPS set correctly (0% throttle at idle) using MICRON full,PC2,airbox mod, BMC filter. MUCH better than stock.
Keep looking for another problem.
Use a load step Dyno with a exhaust gas temp and CO measurement especially at the rpm and throttle position of the problem areas. Check all of your sensors, which will take you an afternoon.

The point being that suzuki UK and the local dealer do not recognise any problems with the busa (they obviously do now).Mine used to cut out all the time and lost power when rolling the throttle on when pulling away from junctions. The local dealer gave me a doner bike to swap the whole fuel injection system over,i was then told by suzuki UK technical department to set up as per previous post.Yes it is a bit crude to use the head up display to set the t.p.s but nobody in the area has the facilities to remap (and i had to do all the work myself due to lack of interest from the supplying dealer and suzuki UK).Maybe thats why us brits are left in the dark all the time

If you send me your email address or post it here I will send you the complete Suzuki Service Bulletins #108 AND #109

This update cured my bike.
