Cycle world this month had an article that really hits home about motorcycling, rules, 1000 dollar limit, ride it on a 750 mile tour, they even had to rebuild one of the two strokes in the hotel room. One of the bikes was a chinese dualsport like you can buy at an auto parts store for a grand...one of the quotes regarding said bike.."the chinese bike lunched the motor on day one, but in its defense 50 miles of around town breakin immediatly followed by pinning it to its 60mph top speed all day was probably not the best thing for it." This article reminded me of my high school days where 1000 dollars was most of our price limit for used bikes and you rode whatever you could aford.
