D&d exhaust

I have my sight on a set of D&D bolt on cans for my bike. I know these were loud on a friend's TL-R. Is anyone in the org using them? Are they obnoxiously loud on the busa? I need the noise but would not want to bother my neighbors too much if I can help it.
any info is appreciated.

I don't know of any aftermarket exhaust that is "quiet" on the Busa. If D&D didn't look so ugly (IMO) w/ their tag on the side I would have bought them. They definitely have deep sound w/ them if that's what you're looking for. I went w/ the HMF's. (also deep sound)

I rode with a guy that had em on a TLR too. I went out and put a set on my bus and I swear they get louder with time. Everywhere I go people turn and grin when I pass by. They have a really "ballsy" growl.

yup... I ride around town in 1st gear often just to annoy people.... Not nearly as loud as they would be on an RC51 or the TL... Twins are just harsh..

Yup, the TL is just out of this world with those pipes. I have another friend running RS-3s on his TL and it still makes a lot of noise.

My bike is too quiet, and here in the Boston area some cagers do not look out for bikes, I just want to be noticed by them. I think that I am going for them. hi hi

The logo tags come off! I really like the sound best of all. And at low rpm's they aren't obnoxious. And they look nice too!

I love them. I was at a light and there was a guy with Yosh's and he asked about my D&D's and so we talked then I reved it and he reved his. Mine was louder but not bad I had this deep powerful growl, then his sounded more like stock and seemed a bit wimpy. heres mine.

Yup they are loud and take some getting used to but now I love them.

had them on my 02 le for awhile switched to a full bde system no power gain with the bolt ons put the bde on new 05 also
