Damn break in Miles!!

I am really impressed with my new Busa LE, though I have only put 32 miles and less than 20 total minutes on it so far! The color is real sharp and when I met up with a few local riders they were all greatly impressed by the look and reputation of this great machine. I think if the weather clears up I am going to have to drive from here to Maine and back just to get the miles to break in service level so I can really open this thing up.

Only question I have is does anyone know of a good aftermarket windscreen they will deflect more headwind up and away instead of right at the body? I am not much of a "full tuck" kinda guy anymore. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

That's what I did, not Maine of course, that's a bit far from Florida. I bought it on a Saturday, 8 days later I took it on a 400 mile two day trip up to North Florida and back. I've had it 2 1/2 weeks now and have opened it up a little. It's just amazing. It now has just over 800 miles on it.

I would try one of the touring models. Because they sit higher than the sport or stock screens it should provide you the wind deflection you are looking for. Zero Gravity and PUIG both make good screens.

The Double bubble screens take the wind from the body to just your helmet, although I am 6'6", so it might be just what you looking for, plus as high speed it really nice too.

Thanks. I"m going to try the Double Bubble one. I have heard others say it's great as well.

I'll let ya know when I finally get the bike serviced for break in and have a chance to really crack her open...
