Dang Foot pegs

So there we are 2 up all day.. ran almost 200 miles today...

And sure enough on our way home from it all.. we're cruzin along bout 60 mph in single lane traffic...

And then BAM car in front slams and swerve's..

And what comes out from under the #@m car... a tractor trailer tire....

And yes we hit it...

Didn't go down but the tire flapped up the right side. Hit low around the pegs and exhaust.. hard enough to break off my foot peg.

My toes hurt

No other damage.. and we're alive.. so it was still a good day.


Someone jump in and talk to me bout buell peg mod.. since I need a new peg..

If anyone has a stock right drivers peg.. I'm all ears..

Glad you're OK. If the guys in the car had been paying attention/not following the guy in front of them too closely, perhaps you'd never have had to worry about the tire.

Had a clingon about 5' off my back wheel the other day... was NOT on the Busa that day, unfortunately. Never have flipped anyone the bird before while riding... the woman had no clue how to drive...

Glad your ok. While behind or passing a semi Im always worried about retreads coming off.



Other day I was on the VTX and had a guy following me pretty close, There was a retread in the road so I aimed right for it to keep him from seeing it, at the last moment I swerved to miss it and he never saw it coming, Im sure it had to hurt something under his car.

i think its the buell thunderbolt pegs. they are about 1" lower. thinkin of doin it myself.the peg mod, not runnin over truck tires. glad you didn't wipe out.
