i have seen threads on here but cant find em now--whats the word on fixing those ugly ,cheap looking black dash pannels--i hear paint is an option but im afraid of cracking ect...
carbo teck makes a nice carbon set for about 400$ bones- ouch kinda spendy--any other options?

thanks for any input--

You got the only options! Paint 'em or replace with CF. Just got to figure out what you want to do with the rest of the bike.

Dont be...unless you plan on doing it with a spray can, then it will crack.
Have a professional do it.There are special products that and flex agents used to paint plastic with and when done right, will not crack!

If you do plan on painting yourself,at least use this first.

paint it then sand it down to a smooth finish then paint and clear...smooooth and sharp looking. dont worry about cracking it unless you gonna be playing frisbe with them.

Pianting is a good option that helps to complete the look of your scoot. A lot of people have it done....IMHO it is one of the best cosmetic mods that you can do!

Personally I want mine painted 05 black but I don't know a trust worthy painter

In Florida, you might go with race ready. Willy has ads in several mags.... some people really like his work, some people have had problems. I would do a search and check out some of the threads on the subject.

You might want to get in touch with Mick (Creekboy) and see what he can do for you. He has some stuff going on at home right now, be he may be able to help you out. If it means anything to you (and it probably doesn't) I would send my stuff to him, if I needed something done.
