I just got an invite to work 8 days down at the track for Daytona bike week.

I did a search and couldn't find any threads for this year

At this point I will ride down with camping gear and stay at the track for the 8days.

Don't mind roughing it at all , just wanted to know who is going and what kind of evening activities I could participate in. :laugh:

And if there are Daytona threads could you link them into mine here.
 
I will be staying at the LaPlaya Resort & suites on A1A and broadcasting my show the 2 Wheel power Hour from the foyer on March 2nd at 6pm. Stop by if you get a chance.

Work dates are 2-25-10 thru 03-05-10 if the information supplied to me is correct.

I will be loading up the bike with my camping gear and riding down Interstate 95 to Daytona.

There is free camping for us outside the turn 1 tunnel and they supply lunches.

Otherwise we are on our own and free to wander in the evenings.

I truly appreciate the offer and look forward to being in Florida again.

I haven't visited that state since 1983, so I pray for sunny weather and dry nights.

I hear it rains everyday in Florida around 3:30 p.m. :laugh:

Not usually that early in the year. You will be dry. LOL

From Vermont to Daytona ....all on I-95! Boy won't that will be a fun slab ride :omg::errrr:

Good news is...a couple days later...when the feeling in your bum returns...all will be forgotten by being upfront & working hands on at one of the best motorcycle races in America! :thumbsup:

Going up with Adam and the family.
I have been a few times but it will be their first.
We are driving up the morning of and coming home after though.

Start the bike exit Track...go right..cant miss the fun...north or south...
As far as nightly activities it has been a couple yrs but the infield used to get pretty wild.

We are sitting in the Keech tower right past start finish..

Cant wait..Adam's gonna see some real VROOM VROOMS !:cheerleader:

Nah not all 95, I have to take 91 out of VT 1st.:laugh:
 
Ok. Joker and I are planning a lunch meetup in Orlando on March 6th around 11am. I will post the details here this weekend. Let me know who is interested.
 
Timmyduck you'll have a blast. As soon as you go through the tunnel you'll camp on the left hand side right near the high bank! Lots of fun trackside at night or you can just head out and find you're own adventure. I'm staying at the LaPLaya Resorts & Suites 2/28-3/7. PM me if you want to stop by and do a ride or something. I'll be around.
