I have been half watching the Dicovery Channel's "Deadliest Catch" show, and last night, the season closed, and the fishermen are heading back. Anyway, one of the "green horns" a young college kid is informed that becaus he did a good job, he willbe rewarded with 1% of the profits (about $3500 for 3 days work) and that the experienced deck hands will get around $10,000.

Anyway, someone mentions that they can buy a car, and the kid pipes up with something about buying "the world's fastest production motorcycle" instead.

No one follows up but it was kinda neat.

Maybe he'll join the board!

Was all over that.... we'll have to ask him when he joins the board if he said Hayabusa before all that and the show cut it out....

I saw that. one boat lost $200,000 load of king crab because someone threw a rotton fish in the bay and the decay killed the grabs. It was done as a joke that backfired
