Dealer Accesories

This might sound a bit odd, but I wanted some advice.

My father has a gift certificate for $250 at our local Suzuki dealer that a friend gave to him. It expires soon, so it's mine when I get home.

I've never purchased any accessories for any bike from the dealer, always aftermarket items from various sites. Anything good that I should be able to get or order at the dealer?

I was looking at some of the accessories for the '05s on the Suzuki site, not sure what will fit my '01 though.

As always, thanks in advance.

Hell i wouldnt but crap from the stealers but if you must id get a sprocket but that doesnt cost 200 bucks other than that i dont know everything else at the dealership is overpriced. Can you use it on service?

Yeah, I think it can be used for anything, but my father & my brother are both mechanics and very gifted when it comes to anything mechanical, so they take care of most of that. I'm not sure I trust this dealer to do a whole lot of work on it anyway.....haven't heard great things about them.
If all else fails, I'll probably just buy a fork stand and a rear stand and call it a day.

sproket, tank bra, gel seat

granted probly will eat that all up when ya could get it all for half off the net

Maybe some gear if you don't already have it or tank bag, bra or gel seat. With gift certificates I usually go for something that I wouldn't get with money of my own.

A gel seat and a tank bra sound like a decent idea. What about the center stands on the '05 accessory list, I assume those will fit an '01?
I'll find something to buy....can't pass up a free $250.

yeah center stand will work also never thought to mention that cause i know alotta guys don't care for them

Center stand is $100 in the Zuki cat. I'd get that, Common Maint. items... gaskets, Oil Filters, Chain Lube etc. and a fork stand with the remaining $150 just my .02

pick up supplies oil chan lube ... jacket gloves

I'ld buy a windscreen typically even the dealer sells those at reasonable prices, next a case of synthetic oil. Those 2 should break you
