i have been thinking of getting a newer busa as my one is now 7 1/2 years old and has 28k on it.
i have seen a K6 i like and asked the dealer what i would be looking at for mine as a px.
i paid £4,500 for mine 2 years ago with 24k on it. now this dealer has offerd me £2200 px for mine on a £5000 k6 busa.

i dont think i will be taking them up on there offer.

Wait, wait...your current Gen 1 Busa has only 28,000km on it, and you want to trade it in on another Gen 1? That makes no sense. - Your engine is only barely broken in.
Keep your current bike and don't waste your money.

sorry for the misunderstanding, when i say 28k i mean 28,000 miles which is about 45,000km

None the less, Rainbow is correct. Unless you've not been taking care of yours
or wrecked it...your wasting money.

I got 39,000 on my '06 and it looks new and runs like a swiss watch and plan
to hit 100,000 (and then rebuild it).

For the difference in price, keep yours and add a turbo.

Not sure I would trade in a 28,000 mile Busa unless I was getting a brand new one.

28000 miles is nothing i have a 2007 with 47000 miles these are strong engines and will last as long as you take care of them just like anything else. unless you trading for a gen2 just keep the one you have and save the money for add ons because trading a gen 1 for a gen 1 is pointless. JMO

Yep 28000 miles is way too low to be trading in on another gen1, thats a waste of money unless you're trading up to a gen2. Plus you've only put 4000 miles on it ??? Just keep it and ride a little man :beerchug:

I have had a long talk with the wife, and she has said if i wait 14 months, till the car loan is paid off, i can have a 2 year old Gen 2 busa. dont want to spend to much over £6500:cheerleader:
