Deceleration Jitters?

Djxtrodinaire

Registered
I finally got my 08 registered and took my first ride yesterday and today.

This GEN 2 is
Everything is smooth like Buttah Except for the Deceleration?

Deceleration from any speed causes the front to Jitter?

I have m4 Slip Ons, Brock front clamp and rear Bones.

I never had any issues like this from the 06 Busa or TLR or a GSXR600

Hope this is not normal?
What would cause it?

Bike only has 2900 miles. perfect condition.

Any Help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Deceleration:
Are you using both brakes? downshifting? just turning down the throttle?
Tell us exactly what you do when it happens.
Try and narrow it down as to which thing is causing it.

check front tire pressure asap and run hand over tire to see if maybe thee is some front tire cupping from low pressure in the past. These heavy sport bikes are brutal on fronts and very sensitive to having the dead-on pressure

Check rotors! make sure they are not glazed or warped or even have a bad drilling in the holes. Run hand over them and make sure they are smooth and have no burrs or wavey spots.

+1 start by checking the front tire

Sounds like either a cupped front tire or the front clamp not being tight like it should be.

I have no idea what's wrong, but I've had four of these bikes and not one of them including the 08 has ever acted like you are describing.

I checked the pressure it was around 32/34

I added more to 40/40 its a lot better this morning, But I can still feel the front jitter when decelerating. I need to adjust the front fork damping, it feels a little bit soft.

It still isn't clear what you're doing. To me deceleration means you're no longer accelerating. This could mean coast down, could mean using brakes, could mean alot of different things. Clutch in or out? rear brake applied or not? At what speeds? Is it during hard decelerations only or all the time?

The more information you can provide the better everyone can try and diagnose your issue.

Just letting go of the throttle.
Coasting or coasting down to slow down without using the brake.

It is more present 40mph or below.

roads are fine.

Accelerating normally it goes away.

I'll get someone locally to ride the bike for second opinion.
