These are things to look for when buying your bike.
1.Cost of insurance
2.Price of the motorcycle out the door
3.Parts and aftermarket parts for the bike
4.Easy of doing the maintance on the bike"oil change,spark plug change
5.Is the styling ok for you
6.Pass bikes owned "will it compare to your old bikes"
7.Color
8.What special tools will you have to buy if you're doing your own wrenching
Hope this helps you,remember it's nice to be the first on the block with a new motorcycle and a new model but after that hype the bottom line is will you enjoy the ride. Ride Safe.

I HAVE A DEPOIST ON THE BUSA AND THE ZX12. I HAVE BEEN RIDING FOR 26YRS MOSTLY 900CC TO 1100'S AND ITS TIME TO UPDATE. WHICH BIKE WOULD BE THE BETTER OF THE TWO? i SOMETIMES GO TO THE DRAG STRIP TO RACE AND I DO TAKE TRIPS ON MOTORCYCLES. IS THERE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE BUSA? ARE THERE ANY AFTERMARKET 4 INTO 1 EXHAUST SYSTEMS FOR THE BUSA? ANY INFO WOULD BE APPRICATED! THANKS!

Some guys here have said that 500 mile days are no problem on the Busa.
Then remember the Busa will be in its second year.
You'll be one of the first ones to own a zx12...and probably one of the first ones to find something wrong.
An article i read said the zx12 may be the bike for longer limbed speed freaks...being thats it sits higher much like the zx9.
This really should be a question for yourself.
Which one would you rather see day in and day out?And go for it.
What kind of deposit do you have on the Busa?
