Just a quick couple of questions for you guys

I know it is made of fiber material but when i was the bike will the water hurt or destroy it over time. Also my assumption is it contains heat into the pipes instead of radiating the heat outwards in other words lowering bike temp....right?? That is the idea I get from it anyway and with Engine Ice and a Muzzy fan the bike run cooler than a witches ti.....umm you get the idea

I was told by a couple of mech that use header tape would shorten the life of you pipes ..Something about holding the heat in not cooling down properly and making pipes brittle
